Rising Voices Wessex have teamed up with internationally renowned vocal ensemble Apollo 5 to present an evening of choral music celebrating the joy of singing.
The international award-winning British vocal ensemble Apollo5 delights audiences with versatile and engaging performances on the concert platform, singing repertoire ranging from renaissance, classical and contemporary choral music to folk, jazz and pop.
Rising Voices Wessex community choirs were set up to help people recover from treatment for cancer or to help those affected by the experience of cancer in the family. Participation in a musical activity has been shown not only to improve wellbeing but also to aid communication at a time when people are struggling to adapt to a diagnosis of cancer.All profits from ticket sales will go directly towards our work to continue to support our members by providing some relief from the rigours of cancer treatment.
